As the principal of J.D. Davis Elementary School, I am honored to welcome you to the 2015 – 2016 school year. I would like to express my dedication, along with the staff, in achieving the mission of “Excellence without Exception” that has already been established here at J.D Davis. Our staff is professionally skilled and personally committed to meeting the needs of every student. Our teachers work diligently to create a learning environment that is responsive to the differences in our students’ academic levels, interests, and learning styles. We strive to provide a safe, positive, and supportive school experience so that all students feel valued and encouraged to achieve their personal best. We are dedicated to making a positive difference in your child’s life.
We will continue to work closely with our families and believe that you are a critical part to the success of our students. We are committed to clear and on-going communication between home and school, and together, we will create a learning community where students, parents, and staff are proud to call J.D. • Ensuring that your child is at school on time each day
• Attending parent/teacher conferences and school events
• Monitoring your child’s homework daily
